Strategic Planning Statements Finalized
Updated mission statement, vision statement and Oriole Pride values unveiled
In our last installment of our Charlotte Public Schools Strategic Plan, we will be communicating our updated Mission Statement, Vision Statement, and Oriole PRIDE values! Our planning committee had some passionate discussion about how we can define and incorporate CPS treasured phrases like “The Oriole Way” and Oriole PRIDE, reminding long term staff while introducing these goals to new families and team members. After many tweaks, we developed the following statements, making sure to keep them brief and memorable.
MISSION:
Charlotte Public Schools embraces the Oriole Way: Nurturing and providing excellent education and opportunities with respect and purpose to students, staff, and the community we serve.
VISION:
Our Charlotte Public Schools community will provide educational opportunities for all students to grow, learn, and play through connections to each other and our commitment to Oriole PRIDE.
