Elementary Music

The elementary music program provides elementary students with the opportunity to:

• experience a wide variety of musical styles and genres through singing, playing instruments, moving, purposeful listening, creating, and performing
• explore the connections between music and the other arts and academic areas
• develop basic musical skills
• form the foundation for lifelong musical enjoyment, appreciation, and understanding
